Day Out With Thomas

Since so much can happen on vacation I have tons and tons to post about. Let's just hope I get it all done. I never even posted about the time Tyler took a day off of work and we went to the Zoo. It was fun though! So, Tyler took another day off so that we could go to Austin and take Zachary to enjoy a day out with Thomas. If you are wondering who Thomas is, I'm not talking about my cousin although I would pay $16 and drive all the way to Austin to see him, he is the oh so famous, loved by all Thomas the Tank Engine.

Zachary was very excited to go meet Thomas and get to take a ride on him. We arrived an hour or so before our train departed from the station so it gave us plenty of time to do all the fun activities located inside. First Zachary got a really cool tattoo of Thomas on his hand. It lasted a day or two, but he was sad when it got washed off.

Then we took our picture in front of Percy while we waited to meet Sir Topham Hatt. There's Zach with his huge grin and squinted eyes.

Who is Sir Topham Hatt, you ask? Well he is the director of the Railway and is responsible for making sure the engines are always Right on Time and Really Useful. For as you should know Thomas is always Right on Time and he is a Really Useful Engine.

Here's Daddy and Zachary waiting to board the train.

Here is Zachary making that giant step to get on.

Zachary and Daddy posing after the Big Ride!!!

And last but not least Zachary posing with his favorite animated character. Here he is pointing and saying, "See Thomas?!? That's Thomas!" We all enjoyed ourselves and had a fun little day out with Thomas.

Zachary should be the poster child for Thomas the Train.

All the pics are adorable. I'm especially fond of the one of the old lady holding the two innocent little devils.
