Just had to blog

So, I have clean clothes all over my bedroom floor screaming at me to fold them. Yes, I can hear them. And I have stories to write for my brother-in-law's 40th birthday present (Jackie, I promise I will get them done before the 22nd. My English papers always turned out better if I waited 'til the last minute and I'm expecting the same for this. At least that's what I told myself.) But I am choosing to blog. What do I have to blog about you might ask?!? Absolutely nothing! But I can always come up with something. I really have been wanting to share pictures from Halloween so see below.
This first one is of us yes at a grocery store. I wish the lady who took the picture noticed the bad placement of the sign, but oh well. They were doing a thing that day where you could come and take pictures so I went for it. The picture didn't turn out too bad except for the sign! We picked out a pumpkin and decorated it that night.

Ta-da! As Zach would say. I went for the Mr. Potato Head pieces. It makes it A LOT easier. I hate the carving and digging out. I love pumpkin seeds, but I'd rather just buy a bag of them if I really want them. Here's our little Teddy Bear. Zach wore the same costume. I would post a picture, but we didn't have a digital camera yet.

And next we have Bumblebee from Transformers.

I'm sure most of you do not know the theme song from Transformers, but it cracks me up every time Zach sings it. Those who know me well should know that when it comes to understanding lyrics I'm very bad and I tend to make up my own words. Zach is just like his mother.
The real version: Transformers, more than meets the eye. Autobots wage the battle to destroy the evil forces of the Decepticons.
Zach's version: Autobots wage the battle to destroy the EAGLE forces of THEY'LL BE cepticons.
I've tried to convince him that they are saying evil, but he has corrected me and thinks I'm crazy because MOM, they are saying EAGLE not E-VIL. And don't ask me what a cepticon is?!?
And I keep thinking of another great line from Zachary that I haven't shared yet. At least I don't think I've shared it yet so if this is a repeat shame on me I really should be better at blogging more often that way I don't wait so long to post the story. Sometime before Thanksgiving all 4 of us got sick with a stomach virus. Luckily Brandon didn't have it too bad and Tyler got it the night following most likely because he was elbow deep in Zach's yuckies all night long. It was pretty terrible and I do not want to catch any bugs like that ever again, but the best line of it was Zach referred to us as volcanoes. I thought that was pretty funny. Oh and I thought I was pregnant until an hour later Zach let me know it was a bug because he had it too. It was just awful though.

Thanks for blogging! I miss your witty writing and stories of my sweet Zachary and pictures of my adorable Brandon. I love the Mr. Potato Head idea. I'll have to try that out. Brandon is so cute as a teddy bear! Yep, I'm sure Zach got the 'make up your own lyrics' from his mom. I do that too :) Hope to read more soon!

Good stories!! Wow, imagine how excited Tyler would have been if you were pregnant, wow that would have been fun!! Lena mkes up her own words too. In Jungle Bells where it says one horse open sleigh she says, and I quote "one horse SUPER sleigh" I don't correct cause I think it is cute. Love the halloween pics, it's never too late to post good pictures!

Procrastination: the key to success! Us team-ADD gals know a secret about putting things off at the last minute: it forces us with a deadline, and so we put our VERY best into the product! :) I understand you completely. Also, Zachary is a genius! I don't know of other kids his age that are so mechanical and involved in robots and spaceships, and have such a big vocab! Amazing. I still want to adopt Brandon, but I think I'll have to wait until my baby is at least 6 months. Just sayin'. ;)
