Both of my kids are sick right now. Zach has a cough with not too much of a runny nose thank goodness, but got a round of croup AGAIN. I think this is number 5 maybe 6 I've lost track now. Brandon has a runny nose, constant cough and ended up having an ear infection. I was lucky to see the doctor only once to cure both kids. Though they are not cured the sickness still has to run its course. While I took care of Brandon today Tyler played with Zach. Tyler told me they had a conversation like this while having lunch at McD's:
Z: Dad, we're gonna die soon.
T: Oh yeah, why are we gonna die?
Z: Because we're dinosaurs so were gonna be dead soon. Then the archaeologists will come dig up our head bones and skeletons. Then they will put us in museum and mom will come to visit us and cry because she misses us.
I would cry and I would miss them, but isn't it funny what goes on in the minds of children?!? Who knows what turned them into dinosaurs all of a sudden? I hope you all had a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Maybe I'll post again soon. That story was too good not to post!

Freakin hilarious! Zach never lets me down with his keen sense of humor and wit. Definitely got that from his mom :) He's so smart too. I'm glad he knows the word archaeologist.
poor kids. I hate when they get sick. It's so hard to comfort them and explain the problem. I hope they get better soon. Good luck.

Both of your kids are adorable! I got your Christmas card and baby announcement (I love your new hairstyle btw) and I was noticing A) how much Zach has grown and B)How adorable and squishy and so darn cute Brandon is. His eyes are HUGE. Can I have him? Well, maybe I take that back, since I'll have my hands full in a month (hopefully I'll deliver early). But seriously you and Tyler make some cute kids.
Hi sorry I just got back on here FINALLY!!! That is a funny story, He comes up with some good ones. I hope they are all better now. I hate having sick kids. we have been pretty healthy this season... knock on wood.
