Zachary got to make a gingerbread train for Christmas this year. We all had a lot of fun putting it together. I'd like to say that Zachary did the whole thing himself, but sadly we helped. You couldn't tell from the looks of it though. After I thought we were finished Zachary got ahold of the icing bag and continued to add more and more of it. I didn't capture it like I thought I had, but the entire roof of the train is now a white mound of icing. He had a blast making it though. Thank goodness it was just one of those kits, who knows what it might've looked like if I had made the gingerbread and everything. I'm sure Zach's favorite part was getting to eat half of the candy and use the other half to decorate. Well, he probably didn't enjoy having to paste the candy onto the train he would've much rather eaten it all.

I was re-enjoying Zach's blogs and I happened to notice in this 2nd picture that you permitted Zach to decorate the backside, non visible to the public side. That was use of good strategy. My little precious certainly seems to be enjoying himself.

Zachary assisted in decorating every side of the train. Him squeezing icing on the back side had nothing to do with hiding his masterpiece. It just happened to be facing him at the moment he got a hold of the icing bag. The most visible part, the roof, got the most attention from Zachary anyways. I just happened to not take a picture when he was finished.
That is good photography then.
