Dad,...?

The other day Zachary asked Tyler, "Dad, where do you live?"

Tyler responded, "I live in Houston, where do you live?"

Zachary: "I live in Houston, Texas and I'm going to get tickets to fly on the space shuttle to the moon. I'm going to be an astronaut."

Mom: "It'll be a while before you can do that, but if you want to be an astronaut when you grow up that will be fine. You can be whatever you want to be!"

I think Zachary loves knowing that he lives in Houston where the space shuttle is. Grandma Stevens took us to NASA 2 weeks ago and Zachary loved it. He really enjoys learning about space and all that goes with it. Of course he's especially into rockets.

Last Friday, Zachary had his 3 year old check up. The nurse asked me if he could tell me what his full name was and I told her I'm not sure. I'm pretty sure that he can tell you his name is Zachary Tyler Stevens and that he knows that it is him, but I wasn't a hundred percent sure. I did tell her though that he can tell you he lives in Houston, Texas and that's probably a similar thing?!?

Just to show how determined Zachary is to go into outer space...
Today before Zachary had "quiet time" we looked at some flash cards of planets and all things related to space. When we got to the picture of Venus Zachary told me, "I can't wait to see Venus when I get on that Space Shuttle and fly into outer space." I read an article in Parade magazine about how they need more people from younger generations to be interested in aeronautics and such, maybe Zachary can provide that for them.
