It's official...

Zachary has finally learned to pedal a tricycle! At his 3 year check up 7 months ago the nurse asked if he was able to pedal a tricycle yet. Of course I had to tell her no, but he had a slight problem in that he couldn't reach the pedals on his super cool spider-man chopper. Well, I did shorten that when I was talking to the nurse and left out the super cool spider-man chopper part. Zachary is very stubborn like both of his parents and will learn things when HE wants to learn them. Luckily I always take the attitude of...I doubt he'll be in kindergarten and still not be able to ___________. Fill in the blank with drink from a cup, pee in the potty and also, pedal a tricycle. He did all of these skills later than most kids do, but I don't think you'll find any boss asking him at 25 what age he was when he mastered all of these skills. Yeah it can be cool when they learn things at a really young age, but when it comes down to it as long as they are eventually able to do it is the most important thing! So, I even captured some pictures of Zachary in his proud moment. Keep your eyes open, there really are pictures to go with the blog!
You can see how far he has traveled from the curb. And you can also see his spider-man chopper, that is super cool.
