Brandon was fussing a little so I picked him up and looked at him and asked, "What's the matter?" Zachary says to me as though I were an idiot, "Mom, he can't talk."
This time Brandon was crying and although I had just fed him I thought I would try to give him a pacifier because I felt he was using me for more than just nurishment. As I make an attempt to pacify him with something other than me boob he refuses and gets a little more mad. Sounding a little irritated Zach says to me, "Mom, he's hungry. You need to feed him."
I'm trying really hard to understand what Brandon is saying through his cries a la an Oprah episode on baby language, but apparently I don't need to because I have Zach.
The above picture is of Zachary helping give Brandon his first bath at home.

Too cute!! I just want to come hold him!! We are trying to plan a time to come. I keep telling Eric soon!!!
That is too funny. Zach is a smart kid! Does he love his brother yet? It looks like he does. Good luck with that baby language stuff.
Looks like you have time to read the parenting books and magazines anyway. Thank goodness we have Zach around to share his infinite wisdom on caring for his brother. That is really special.

I know I always say this but I love Zach's sayings! He is too cute. He's already a great big brother.
This post makes me laugh! Zach is hilarious! I really wanted my kids to be close together in age, but for the meantime we are having to wait a while...but when our 2nd baby DOES come around, I can't help but think it will be somewhat easier because by then Ezra will be 3 or 4. I read all these fun stories of Zach and Brandon and see what a good helper Zach is. I'm sure it's nice to have Zach potty trained and able to communicate well. If I had my babies close together, it would be double diaper duty and double tantrums.
Anyway...I'm just going on and on... :)
