Downtown...where all the people go...

Last Thursday (a week ago), Grandma, Jaeden, Zachary and I traveled where else, but downtown. There was a performance called Danceology 101 at an outdoor theatre so we decided to take the boys. It was a lot of fun. Zachary of course enjoyed watching them dance and we enjoyed watching Zach dance. The best part was watching him try to learn the Macarena. After the performance Zach and Grandma ran down the hill and the Grandma got to carry Zach back up.

As Zach was running down the hill he heard and saw the train that runs in Herman Park. Grandma, being a grandma, told Zach we could go ride the train. Of course this is all he could talk about until we actually got on the train. He enjoyed it a lot. He asked to ride it again, but I had to tell him we could only take one turn. I tried to tell him that everyone else needs a turn too, but that was probably hard to believe since only 4 people got on the train when we got off.

After the train ride we went and fed the ducks at the lake near by and Grandma got a picture with two of her little devils. (Wilson is definitely another little devil, that's only because he will be dressing up as one for Halloween.)

(Isn't Jaeden such a beautiful little boy?!?)

After having all that fun you'd think we were done, but we headed over to the Children's Museum. The boys had a lot of fun there too!

The pictures are great except for the poor old lady with the wild hair-do. Actually, reading about all we did on that day brings back such fond memorie, except maybe having to lug little Zach back up the hill about...how many times? I wouldn't trade that closeness for anything.
Love, Grandma
