Then while we waited for the train Zach posed for me in front of the large bale of hay.
Then we got to do his favorite part of the day...ride the train. Everyday and everywhere we go now he thinks there is a train and that we get to ride on it. Granted we have ridden on a few trains since this day, but ever since the Oil Ranch Zach has asked me each day if we could go ride the train. Nevertheless we rode it twice that day. We had to get our fill in.

Next, we got to take a hay ride out to the cow pasture. We actually got to feed the cows. That's an experience I would be fine not repeating. Their tongues are so large and slimy. I would just set the food down on the trailer and let the cow pick it up himself. My dad always reminds me I never would've survived on a farm. I'm learning to agree and be grateful that I'm a city girl even if I am from Texas.
Zachary also got to ride on a horse. I was surprised he did so well. I figured he would be scared, but he enjoyed it. I guess he viewed it more as a ride than that fact that he was sitting on a large animal.
We also got to run down a large hill of hay in the barn. Zach enjoyed it a lot.

And last, but not least Zach got to pick out his very own little pumpkin and take it home with him. Here he is looking at his prized pumpkin.
