A mis-understanding
This has happened more than once now, but it happened again yesterday and I thought I would share about it. When I dropped Zach off at school I decided to take him in instead of dropping him off at the carpool lane. I'm thinking I need to start doing that again because it makes it easier for him emotionally which makes it easier for me. But as I'm trying to leave the classroom Zachary is saying to me "Stay in the parking lot, stay in the parking lot!!" It donned on me that when he is saying that to me he actually means, "Mom, please stay just outside while I'm in school all day." I'm sure he wants to know that I'm close by and still there even though he can't see me.

Just tell that sweet boy some random TRUTHFUL statement like, "I will be in that parking lot as soon as you get out of school". OK?

PS Jill, which of the "choose an identity" do I use besides "anonymous?" That's the only one that works for me. You told me twice before if not more, but please, Oh Resourceful One, which do I choose and what do I put into it?
