Zachary and I enjoy reading and singing Here Comes Peter Cottontail. He can't wait 'til the Easter Bunny brings him chocolate bunnies and his mommy an orchid. It says that he will do that in the song.
Last week Zachary got to have an egg hunt at school. Of course he had a lot of fun. 
Last Sunday at church, Tyler was walking Zach around the hall and Zach noticed the picture of Christ where he looks like a shepherd. Zachary asked, what is Jesus doing? Tyler explained as best he could he's wearing a cloth over his head to keep the sun off. Of course he wasn't really sure what exactly Zach was asking. Zach quickly pipes in, "He looks like He's trying to be Little Bo Peep!" When we got home I laughed again because it's the exact picture we have hanging on the wall in our living room. That just goes to show how long it has been hanging there that I forgot it was even the picture we owned! Oops! We have discussed the picture before because that's the picture Zach learned about Jesus on, but he wasn't old enough at the time to know who Little Bo Peep was.

I like Tyler's explaination of the cloth on Jesus' head, lol! That happens to me too with pictures I have hanging up, I almost forget they're there. All I can say is: YSTO!
Don't worry Julie that you are not the first to comment on my blog... I am never the first to comment on yours. By the Way what does YSTO mean? I really think that Zach is very smart I would have never made to connection between little bo peep and Jesus. However, you shold have told him the little bo peepe IS tryng to look like Jesus not the other way around.
Little Bo Beep! Seriously you should make a book w/all of Zach's funny sayings...I'm sure you're doing that already! We're having an Easter egg hunt tomorrow, and lots of the candy is already eaten! The eggs, which I am dyeing tonight, will go into the trash after the egg hunt...I can't stand gray circles on the yolk. Alrighty, a little random there.
Oh, I just remembered our egg dying activity with Brent and Jared Easter 2001, fun times!
It's funny because every Easter I think of Brent. Only because I'll buy a bag of Jelly Beans and think of him with every black one I eat. I was laughing about it the other day. Who would've ever thought that for the rest of my life I would think of Brent on Easter? He obviously has no clue. I don't ever really think of Jared though. Oddly that was the Easter that fell on Tyler's birthday. Gotta love the cupcakes we made in honor of him!
