Dance Fever!

Has anyone ever seen a dance machine?!? Well I have one in my house. It's about 2 1/2 ft. tall and when you turn the music on it moves like crazy. If you haven't figured it out yet I'm talking about my little Zachary. He literally is a dance machine! When we were in Lubbock we had a friend that held a music class. I had her copy the CD's for me so I could continue it after we moved. The idea is so great since it gives your child fun exercise and wonderful stimulation. I however have no need to call it music class because in our house it's more like dance class. Zach has lots of favorite things to do. Run around with little jingle bells and pretend you are flying around like little bumble bees (jingle bell bees.) He also likes the two sticks we use to tap together to mimic beats. But most of all he loves the free form dance where he gets to run around with his ribbon stick and be a dancing fool. The pictures really don't do him any justice. Of course we laugh at him the whole time because he really gets into it.

Now Zachary loves music and dancing so much that on Sunday he decided to get up and start shaking his fists and hips while we were singing a hymn at church. I know it was very irreverent, but it was so hard for me to stop him because it was too funny.

Another cute story I want to share is from tonight at dinner. Tyler had come home tonight completely exhausted from a long day at work. Being the good daddy that he is, he first played trains with Zach trying not to fall asleep on the floor. He then decided to go lay down because he was beat. I decided we would have dinner without Daddy so that he could rest. The way our apartment is laid out you can see our bed from where Zachary sits in his highchair. As Zachary and I were eating our kids feast of grilled cheese and Campbell's Chicken and Stars soup. Zachary shouts out to Tyler, "Dad, want chicken and stars?" I assume this is because we always ask Zach if he wants chicken and stars due to the fact that we want to make sure he will eat them before we open the can.
