I know it looks like he was doin' pretty good. He actually was able to put one leg in each hole they were unfortunately backwards. You can't really tell, but Zachary got his haircut yesterday. That's a whole other story in itself, but I thought it would be nice if I only posted happy stories on his blog. It's such a tormenting moment in his life he probably doesn't want to remember it when he gets older.
As a preface...Zachary has certain toys that we don't like for him to take in his crib when he his taking a nap. There aren't very many, but there are a few. Although many times he has wanted to take them with him, we had to put our foot down and say no. As an explanation as to why he couldn't take them we taught Zach that it was because his toy needs to take a nap as well. We would put it in the closet and I would tell the toy to have a good nap. And of course Zach was okay with it and he understood that the toy was tired too. Yesterday on his own volition he decided that two of his toys needed to take a nap in the closet while he took his nap. The cutest part was when he told his toy "Sleep tight!"
