Airplanes, Helicopters and Motorcycles
One of Zachary's favorite things to do is look at pictures of one of the three aforementioned modes of transportation on the internet. We type in the word and do a search under google images. A myriad of pictures come up. It was fun at first, he would be excited to see so many airplanes at one time. That's what it all began with, pictures of airplanes. Tyler, however, enjoys looking at motorcycles. Ever since he was a kid he dreamed of getting one. (Don't be expecting any news anytime soon.) Last Saturday morning we took Zach to look at motorcycles at the dealership. Just to look of course. He enjoyed sitting on them and he didn't want to leave. He still asks to look at all 3 things quite frequently. Sometimes we are reluctant because we've had to endure looking at them so many times. Tonight however Zach has mastered the art of being polite. He stands at the computer and says, "look at motorcycles?" (Knowing that Tyler will be more willing than had he asked to look at airplanes.) After Zach saw some hesitation from Tyler he quickly added..."PLEASE!" This was the first time he ever used the word on his own accord. I'm normally asking him to add it to his demanding phrases, but somewhere in that little brain of his he figured out how the word was to be used and apparently how to use it to his benefit. Of course Tyler quickly swept Zach up and placed him on his lap to look at Kawasaki Ninja's and the likes. How could you say no when Zach says please?!?!
