For the Love of the Game

I always knew I wanted to have Zach play soccer when he gets old enough, but it looks like he'll want to play it too. Zach got to play with his cousin Ethan's soccer ball the other day and was devastated when we had to leave it behind. I decided I would go ahead and invest in a soccer ball now so that Zach can begin kicking it around (ok, it's a year early) and enjoy playing with it. Which he desperately loves his soccer ball. He even has to take it into the crib with him many a nights and naps. After looking over all of our choices he picked the blue ball. I kept offering him different ones, I liked this one with a cool design on it, but he would have nothing to do with any of them except the bright blue one. I guess he's a boy folks! Ok, I had figured that out before now, but it is always so neat to observe the differences between boys and girls. So here are some pictures of Zach playing soccer with his Daddy and I don't need to tell you that he loved it, the pictures say it all!

So, I realize there are a lot of picutres, but as you can see from the smiles on his face he definitely was having a mighty good time. And who ever said no playing ball in the house?!?!?

Zoe keeps on asking to see, "Zachy ball". She really likes these pictures, we have a pink shinny soccer ball that she loves to kick, but I havn't let her kick it in the house. I think that I will!

Love the BYU teeshirt, aka maglietta. I think I need to add grand to the one you gave me when you were in school.
The Pics are awesome. No doubt he was having the time of his life. No wonder he was so tired last night at dinner.
I love seeing Zachary and Jaeden play together. Because Jaeden is so wild, I think Zachary will always live vicariously through him.
Love you all,
Mom

Zach has plenty of wild in him, it just takes him a while for it to come out around people he's not used to being around. Other than that he's just cautious and not a climber, you can still be wild and not have to climb everything in sight. With me as a mom Zach definitely knows how to be wild.

Forgot to say: Thanks for not blaming your poor athletic ability on your mom for not permitting ball play in the house. I'm glad you are a lot more laid back mom than your mom was.

Also, the reason grand needs to be added to my teeshirt is so it will read BYU grandmom. Telling you this just in case you were lost.

Oh and by the way, I probably don't have an ounce of athletic ability because my mother never let me play ball in the house. It's probably because we broke one of the lights on the ceiling fan in the game room.
