A Funny Kid!
I know I just posted earlier this afternoon, but this one was to good to not post right when it happened. Zach had turned his Thomas Record Player on in the living room. He then came into Tyler and my bedroom and shut the door. He goes up to Tyler and says, "Do you hear that Thomas noise?" We could barely hear it and Tyler said, "A Thomas noise?" Zach says, "Yeah! It's behind the wall! It's singing!" It was pretty funny. The even better part was hearing him use the word behind correctly. For the longest time I would ask Zach where something was and in a high pitched whiney voice he would answer, "Behind you!" Most likely this was because whenever he would look for something we would point to it and we'd tell him it's behind you. So he would always tell me when I was looking for something, it's behind you. After a few object lessons of the block is in front of you, now it's behind you. I guess he's starting to learn what "behind" means.

Isn't it fascinating how kids learn concepts like behind, beside, etc., almost overnight? Glad my little fellow is progressing so well.
